Thread: Tunlr DNS & Pandora/Last.fm App

Default Tunlr DNS & Pandora/Last.fm App

I use Tunlr DNS in order to get access to the Last.fm App and Pandora but it seems they have introduced traffic shaping which would mean that I have to change my DNS before and after everytime I use Last.fm/Pandora which is a pain. Another thing is that sometimes I'd like to browse while using them which would mean that browsing would become rather slow.

Is there any way to make this easier? Perhaps to set the Last.fm App to use the Tunlr DNS and my browser to use another? Any suggestions?

Yup, they have implemented traffic shaping and have set downloads to 15kbps which is impossible.
As far as I know, there is no way around it. Your method to change the Last.fm App to use the Tunlr DNS and the browser to use another would not work since the DNS is not changed in the browser.

As a paid option, you can try unotelly which is basically the same as tunlr but costs 5 bucks a month (4 bucks with their annual subscription). There is no bandwidth cap though and you can continue usual browsing at your provider's speed.
