I really wish mweb would drop the price on 4mb uncapped. I'm getting great service, no problems.. so far so good. But petrol is going up (again) and i have 2 make a choice ...

    sad ;(

It's R539 for 4mb, R999 for 10mb (data only) ...so it's still quite a jump in pricing there, even with the price cuts.

In contrast, Afrihost has their 10mb uncapped for R999 WITH THE LINE RENTAL. So we're talking almost R400 difference in cost here. On a monthly basis , that's a hell of a lot.

I was hoping for some good news - been away for a couple of weeks. Good news this is not.

And if you haven't sent your cancellation through now, you will only be leaving at the end of September.

Just a note, it's R897 with data AND line rental (R997 is data only) - it's crazy I know, that's how we roll
If AfriMan says it, it is so!

Highly doubt there will be I'm afraid. I think Afrihost has this in the bag for a while. But seeing the speeds that customers are getting, I am hesitant to throw in the towel as of yet. I am giving it a few more weeks, then I will be making my decision. While the prices are higher with mweb, they seem to be more stable.

    Sigh. I haven't.

I can't believe MWEB still haven't responded at all. It is still two rand cheaper for me to move my line and data to Afri and have it upgraded from 4meg to 10meg uncapped. Crazy days.
