The much maligned Bantu Education system produced the following, Kgalema Motlanthe, Tokyo Sexwale, Blade Nzimande, Sizwe Mchunu, Dr Zweli Mkhize, Mangosuthu ButhelezI, Menzi Simelane, Thuli Madonsela and the Black Lawyers Association which was formed in 1977.

Several of the prisoners on Robben Island studied and obtained degrees during their time there. I have often wondered how many prisoners of the ANC in Quatro Camp (and others) were given any chance to study and further their education.

Very few, if any, were lucky enough to end up with a simple bullet in the head.
Being killed in Quatro tended to be a long, drawn out business and provided many hours of entertainment for the killers.
