Jantjies will go the same way as Rose as soon as he gets a cap.
He will have to lose a leg and his ability to see before he starts playing like Rose. But I would like to see Grant on the Bench as 10 is a critical position in the team.

Morne Steyn has never impressed me with his offensive running capabilities or defense. Even when he was at the top of his kicking game, he was always a nervous link in our backline.

Well he has impressed me with his kicking, didn't he get 38 in a row in the tri nations?

When you have someone who can kick so well it is invaluable.

Why don't you guys like janties, is it because he plays for lions? Personally i don't care who someone plays for as long as they good.

Take note ... it's not pronounced 'Jantjies' ... it's pronounced 'Jantjes'. There's far more respectability in the pronunciation 'Jantjes' than in 'Jantjies'. He lives in Jo'burg, remember ... not on the Cape Flats.

I actually thought that Hougaard takes to long to clear the scrum, this puts a lot of unnecessary pressure on Steyn.

Don't get me mstarted on that.

    That's a whole new thread.

Hougaard is so slow it's almost embarassing. No ... it is embarassing.

Hougaard .... your job is to pass the ball, as quick as humanly possible. If you can't do that ... GTFO!

I reckon that is one of the reasons why Steyn is under performing as well, if you're use to playing with Fourie de Preez and now you get a mullet man that takes ages then how can you do anything with a good ball?

I'm no bull fan. The guy is a bit off. Maybe we just need 2 reliable kickers?
No I'm not rude, just honest.

Only bull fans are bull fans.

This may sound like nonsense, but there's a point to this.

Most provincial teams are tolerant of each other .. yet the Blue Bulls have cultivated a climate of intolerance of other teams second only to the hatred of the ANCYL of white imperialist bastards.

If a coach of blue bull origins wish to achieve success, he will have to let go of his favouritism.

Johan Goosen is the future. Hougaard performed much better when the forwards were doing there jobs.

The future could look like this:
    9 Hougaard
    10 Goosen
    11 Habana/Mvovo
    12/13 Serfontein
    13/12 Lambie
    14 JP Pietersen
    15 Steyn

That is a solid backline in my eyes. Also our forwards were pretty much 3rd string. Etzbeth looks like he could be a starter in the future but we were missing Bekker, Alberts, Burger, Smith, Vermulen... A long list of very influential players. Also the one Baby Bok might find himself in the squad soon. Him and Kolisi could very well be our future 6/7 pairing.

Hougaard is a much better no. 14 than he is no. 9.

After his huge upper-arm (Maori-type ... why ... he is a Saffer) tattoo he has become crap as a scrum-half.

Isn't there more Sharks than Bulls in the team? IIRC it was the case in the starting team in the first test and the second test.

Anyway, Steyn is a good player, he should bounce back. Until then, Goosen or Lambie with Pienaar on scrumhalf.

You can't trust a meta-ethical moral relativist since such a person can abuse reason to justify any act.
