Thread: Help! How to setup 3D Vision on an Nvidia GT 525M

Question Help! How to setup 3D Vision on an Nvidia GT 525M

    Hi,

I went to a friends house, he has a LG 3D HD TV

I have a Dell XPS L502X which has a Nvidia GT 525M 1GB DDR3 graphics card. According to Nvidia's website, it says that I do support 3D Vision. Link here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-visi...uirements.html

The TV came with 9 pairs of its own 3D Glasses. When I tried to setup the 3D thing (Enable stereoscopic 3D), the TV screen looked really weird. It went through its setup, then the screen looked funny and fuzzy.

What I would like to know is what software / hardware do I need to setup 3D Vision?

    Thank you so much.

    Default

NVidia uses active 3d technology and as far as I know the LG 3d tv's are passive. For it to work on passive screens you would need something like NVidia 3d tvplay. For active screens you would need a display capable of 120hz and the nvidia 3dvision kit.
