Spoke to telkom Customer support and they say upgrades will happen from August 24, that is Ladysmith KZN. No idea when the rest of the country will get theirs

This should be all over.

The new prices on usage products and value bundles are effective immediately while speed upgrades will commence automatically from 24 August 2012.

hmmm i wonder if my intermittent internet problems have been caused by upgrades to the sunninghill exchange? here's hoping.

I have a 1-mbps Telkom line, with Telkom as my ISP. I've been checking speeds using SpeedTest.net every week or so, and today I got the below results, i.e. download @ 133.4 KB/sec.

This result is slightly higher than the usual +/- 107 KB/sec I usually get, but it still confirms that Telkom has not yet upgraded the lines to 2-mbps for mahala.

I know it is only supposed to be upgraded as from August, but I live in hope!

I want msan , damn dslam is so far away , only get a 6mb , need 10mb+ speeds!
