Default Order taking software for mobile phones

I want my reps to capture sales orders on mobile devices (phones, tablets) and then email the order to the office.
Can anyone recommend software for this, bearing in mind it needs to cater for all mobile OS's?

    Many thanks

Why can't they just use the native e-mail software on each of those devices?

    Good question!

Because I need some sort of database holding records of:
    Customer Name & Address
    Product code & description

Otherwise they have to write these down every time which is time consuming. Then I may as well stay with a paper system

The best that you can probably do would be some kind of web based application.

You might be able to get an application that is supported across all mobile platforms (J2ME [inc. BlackBerry & Android), iOS & Windows Phone), but the odds are slim.

Setup a website that your reps can log into when in the field.

If you really want an app you'll most likely have to pay a company to develop it for you. I know of one if you wanna go that route.

Google Docs can do this. In google apps you can create a web form with drop down list of customers and all other fields you require. You can also setup a notification to email as soon as someone completes the form.

if you want more advanced a dev can do this for a small amount but this will be a very simple website. If you have a list of customers and stock you might look at having a db.
Website can be designed to be responsive ie adapts to screen size.
Also consider if you want Inventory check and update, Verifying customer credit, business rules and approval workflow.
