Just heard that Boucher has damaged his eye.
    Might come home.

Sad news, but it's an opportunity for the replacement to prove themselves. Just hoping that it isn't going to be Thami Tsolekile, we can't afford to go in with a mediocre batsman as a keeper.

    Thami is the contracted player.
He must have gotten the call to start packing....

Pray the Boucher is ok... It must have been a freak accident, but tweets suggest it could be a serious injury...

I'm sure he'll be ok but since the eye is involved I seriously doubt he'll take further part in this series.

Don't want to place a jinx on him, but Kallis is going great! He has a point to prove in England, since it's the only place that he hasn't done well in the past.

Its reported as the ball lacerating his eye, but if this is the pic then it would appear to be the bail (the ball is in his gloves), the end of the bail would cause more damage than the ball which is unlikely to lacerate the eye, unless the seems catches it http://www.espncricinfo.com/england-...ry/571691.html

They've also said that the prognosis is unknown - it's possible he may lose sight in that eye Hope not!

    Thank you.

I am wondering if AB will step in as keeper (This will strengthen our batting - Rudolph at 6, duminey at 7), or of Stolekililililililili will get his chance as he is actually the back up keeper....
