Remember we can bat aagain, rather have a slightly less lead and more time to bowl them out and bat again chasing 50-60 runs in 15 overs,

What's not to like about Amla?

He's one of the top batsmen we've ever produced...

I think he meant Kallis and Smith, but you could ask the same question then

Good to see Amla starting to open up his shoulders against Swann. He doesn't deserve the respect of a forward defence.

Time to up that run rate, and it looks like Kallis and Amla are up to the task. This could be fun to watch...

After having a slowish start to the session, to still finish it at 3.8 rpo is a fantastic job especially considering we didn't lose a single wicket.

England's best bowling attack in the world looks blunt and sluggish, regardless of whether Amla, Smith and now Kallis beat them into submission. It just shows what a great bowling attack we have, to have come back on day 2 with such fire. Even their over-hyped Swann, with pitch assistance, can't really do much.

Looks like at the rate we are batting; 250 - 300 is going to be a reasonable target to declare on and still have time for a long go at England's batting lineup today.

The way he's batting, 300 is a very realistic goal for both Amla and our lead...

Not enough time unless he scores it at a run a ball...

I don't think anyone will beat Lara's record. You are going to have to play your team out of the win to do that as well.

It's gonna end in a draw so we may as well bat up until day 5 stumps with 1000 runs.
