Hmmm . I was repeating what the commentator said - it may be wrong. And your link shows that in 2004 Brian Lara scored 375 vs England, so perhaps it is linked to some other event

The bowling is negative, England are wasting a boat load of time. Not impressed with them. Did anyone else notice that biff didn't seem too happy when Amla got to 300. Maybe it's just me but I am convinced that he wanted to be the first SA batsmen to get that mark.
