Broad and Anderson have bowled better than they have all series, moving it around quite a bit. No surprise that it comes under clouds

Petersen and Rudolph are starting to score now though.

Smith, Amla and Kallis did this in the last match too though. See out the first hour and then grind them for the rest of the day.

unless he gets a corker of a delivery I want to see him pull another hundred.
I have said the following in the Proteas thread and I think Mike has also said it on the previus page:
Doubt it, unless rudolph is injured.

    Rudolph has done nothing wrong.

    In his last 5 innings he has scored: 51*, 52, 105, 1, 11 @ Avg of 55.00

I really doubt they will drop him as he is left handed, has openend (thus can help seeing off the second new ball) and has a lot of experience (which a lot of, is in England).
If SA do go with a dedicated Keeper it will come down to duminy vs Rudolph and with Duminy being able to roll the arm over he shuld get the nod.

Let us hope when the pomms bat it is a 180 wicket

Noticed that even Smith and AB have done that... and the normally do not. Think they have been spoken to on really making their wickets their lives and not giving them up as easily as in the past with a loose shot.

Alviro getting 10 in that over. I was reading some English sites and they ranted that Finn should have been in there in the place of Bresnan, then the first test wouldn't have gone down like that. Bresnan still looks better to me than Finn. The way they went on I thought he was the second coming or something like that.

Yip. Straight out of the Gary Kirsten coaching manual I'm sure. Hardly ever saw him give up his wicket cheaply.

500 on the board at close today; get to 650 on day 3; declare and bowl England out twice?

Here's Morgan, aka "Mr Chuckles": "There's a mistake on the page: 'England won the toss and elected to field' should read 'England won the toss and elected to fetch'."
