Funny you should mention that because for the first time in over a year i had issues with my line yesterday (mainly noticed it cuz i really needed it to work then). The speeds was being capped between 90-110kb/s on my 4Mb line. Phones Mweb support, one of the technical guys had me do 2 speedtests, both registering the same max of 0.9Mb and he said i should phone Telkom. Telkom denied anything was wrong but reset my port. Still the same thing for about 2 hours after. Suddenly later on through the night the speeds started jumping upward to 250-300kb/s then to max 440kb/s+ just after 1AM. (Yea, i was ticked off so i stayed up to watch it) -> I think our exchange is congested, which will be sad news. Either that or ??

Default wow finally this page loads!!!!!!

wow I can't believe this it took me like 1hr to get this message loaded onto this forum.

I'm with mweb uncapped ADSL 1mbps. I've been having this problem around about December last year. It wasn't that bad as it was every now and then. But now it's a daily frustration with every now and then it's perfect. My downloads will hang for a few minutes then go to 76kbps then in this next few seconds down to 0.9kbps. Downloading a pdf of 105kb took about 10 minutes because it would hang and I had to refresh page so that it can continue. So I tried another browser still no difference. Plus browsing the web is a nightmare, pages hang and won't load, facebook is a no go. This happens on my laptop also connected via wifi. I've formatted my pc and reinstalled windows still no difference.

    What do I try next?
