I got the details of a lady who does flowers/decor/etc etc. I was told she does a good job, so we gave her a ring a while back.She put a quote together for us, bit of decor stuff, some arrangements, and some flowers. The prices were totally ridiculous. I wasn't impressed at all.
So we started shopping around, and soon found that her prices were indeed quite high... R700 to hire a white arch when I can get the identical thing for R200. The worst was that when she emailed the final quote, there was a R2500 "consultation fee" which she said absolutely nothing about before!! I was like
Anyway, so after seeing some more places that hire out stuff the SO and I decided that this Erika lady was way too expensive, that we gonna do it ourselves. We sent her an email saying thanks for everything, but we going to go another route.
I just got a call now informing me that she will be sending me an invoice for her "time". R500.
There was no mention of this fee verbally or written. There is no quote rejection fee, nothing on the stuff she sent to me. But now she wants to bill me R500 coz we not going with her???
