Default What happens after 99c/minute offer ends on Saturday?

Many people switched to Voda's special 'Allday per minute' prepaid deal in the past two months because it reduced the per-minute voice charge to 99c. But that offer officially closes on Saturday, I believe.

What then happens to those who had switched to it? Do they retain that 99c pricing indefinitely, or does it revert to the original and much more expensive Allday Per Minute tariff?

And if Vodacom are reverting to the old tariffs, do they have a duty to warn customers before doing so?

Switch to Cell C - it is 99c/min and it is billed per second.

Nope doesn't work for me, no Cell C (or 8ta) coverage where I live. Have to stick with Voda, but don't want to end up back on the previously-uneconomical tariff, hence the question about the end of the promotion period on Saturday.

Go back to pasting a smile on your face, and buy a new bottle of Vaseline

If only for voice then you can roam on Vodacom with Cell C.

    It's not ending on Saturday.

    Website says:
With the All Day Per Minute 99c promotion, you don’t need to worry about when you’re calling or who you’re calling, because calls to any mobile or fixed network in SA are just 99 cents per minute. The All Day Per Minute 99c promotion is based on the All Day Per Minute price plan. Prepaid customers already on the All Day Per Minute price plan will automatically qualify for the promotion. The All Day Per Minute 99c Promotion runs from 20 May 2012 to 31 July 2012.

Okay thanks, out by a month. But the principle of the question still remains: what then happens after 31 JULY? Does everyone get shifted back onto the expensive tariff (with or without prior notification) or do those who originally switched stay on the 99c tariff even though the original offer may no longer be open to new applicants?
