Out of pure interest, did the item you order have a price that was too good to be true? Reason i ask is we had a situation with the PS3 Controller going for less than R400 (Retail is nearly double) and there was stock but due to it being the weekend, stock only got updated on Monday morning. They did eventually give us all a R200 voucher but these things happen. It was a pricing error

What was the item you ordered and how much? Not saying this is your case but do tell us more.

This has happened to me quite a few times at Kalahari.

Usually they'll cancel the order if the item is out of stock and they can't get hold of it.
They're well within their rights to do so unfortunately.

But there was an occasion where they made a mistake with the price and covered up
by stating the items were "Out of Stock", then relist them on their site at a much
    higher price.

RoFLol .... and Kaklahari strikes again!!! this has happened so many times with me when shopping
with them! and if you do a search you will find a million and 1 threads from others who have the
same issue with kaklahari, dont even bother contacting them they will not oblige you in any way
even though you have paid for the items cause its their policy to do what every they want with
    "customers"

I would advise using takealot who's service is amazing and much more reliable than Kaklahari.

A bit off topic, but I've noticed in the last week or so, all Kalahari's newsletters/specials was moved to my Gmail Spam folder . Even Google knows that their service has gone downhill

I received the best service from Kalahari than any other online retailer. All three purchases went well and there were simply no hiccups

Thread doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I only ever buy from Kalahari if I have to, IE: Something on special that I can't get anywhere else. Otherwise I stick to Takealot and am I loyal supporter. Takealot are amazing and almost everything is in stock which amazes me. Kalahari you wait anywhere up to 14 days for delivery. No thanks.

Wow, a whole 3 orders.... I've got 5 years worth of orders with Kalahari and if I look at the trend, more and more of my orders go to takealot. In fact due to Kalahari stuffing up my current order I won't be doing any shopping with Kalahari if at all possible. Kalahari should be reported for false advertising or change 'click click, ding dong' to just 'click click,....' because that's more accurate.

I ordered a GPS on Friday from Kalahari. It arrived this morning (next working day). No issue whatsoever.

I once waited 6 days for them to "ship" an ebook to my iPad Never again!

The only surprising thing for me is that people still buy from Kalahari. Now that TakeAlot has e-bucks, there is almost no reason to use Kalahari any more. Their site is horrible, their service is mediocre and you hear constant complaints of people's stuff not being delivered on-time, etc.

TakeAlot is just a much better option. They've got a wonderful site, their staff will absolutely go out of their way to help you and I've never had issues with delivery from them. One of my friends pre-ordered BF3 last year, and when it didn't arrive at his house on release day due to the couriers mucking up, TakeAlot gave him the game plus a refund.

I'm waiting a month already for my book I ordered. It was suppose to arrive the next working day. Anywhere I can complain about this?
