Shaped vs unshaped Capped accounts

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me why you pay a premium for unshaped capped accounts vs shaped capped accounts? Logic would say that on un-capped accounts this should be true and its a method of reducing throughput. But surely on a capped pay per MB system you would rather your members used as much data as possible so that they would need to recharge and therefore spend more.

It's a left over relic from before the uncapped revolution. Back then everyone only had the option of capped so shaping was used to offer cheaper prices and gain an edge in the market.
