Question Problem with Galaxy tab and Webmail

It's connected via Mweb through Wifi.

I'm using mail.webmail.co.za as the pop server. The username as "email account" without @webmail.co.za, doesn't work with @webmail either.
The password is correct and I can access the account via webmail.co.za, but the Galaxy Tab says Can't Connect to Server, or it says Username or Password is Incorrect.

I have tried Googling, but it makes no difference.

    Any advice or tips please?
    Thanks,
    tera

It seems like the unit is faulty. It won't accept a sim card either, so the client will probably have it repaired. Thanks anyways.

    Does webmail require secure logon?

No they don't. It's just standard pop with no authentication.

If you are you will have to select SSL otherwise you will have to change the outgoing mail everytime you use a different ISP's ADSL (even via wifi) to connect.

Webmail only provides incoming, not outgoing. I know how to setup a mail account haha

You can't just select SSL if the server doesn't support it, which it doesn't. In this specific scenario I'm suppose to use Vodacom's smtp, but the Tab's sim card slot is busted, so I can't configure incoming or outgoing. Our Mweb connection at work is port locked or something, with added layers of security, so this is why it won't configure over Wifi, well that's what my boss says anyway.
