    Just like:

Some incredibly shallow responses in this thread.

The purpose of life is to live in peace with all mankind in a bond of love for their fellow man, differences aside. And to be honest, mankind is doing a rather awful job at it.

As if your (purely fabricated) response is deeply meaningful...

A response in kind then. How do you figure this purpose you state?

Yes they are. I wonder what the primary causes of strife, war and violence have been throughout much of history? I vote that we remove those aspects altogether and see what happens

Mankind?... I thought reptilian overlords ran things around here?

My purpose in life is to be a conscious observer and thereby create a holographic information database which then expands and resonate with other waveforms doing the same, forming a common reality.

We're in a relationship with the universe, of it, part of it and entangled with it - we are not seperate and we have effect and influence on the universe itself.

Your brain is a holographic interface and it interprets electric and chemical signals from the universe to create relationships and form coherency within which to create an interpretion eg: your reality

Your purpose is more than to procreate, it is to observe and create, the way information relates is of utmost importance on a cosmic level.
This text exists even though you can't really see it, now apply this truth to your existence in the universe.

wrathex, if you're referring to the holographic universe theory, then you have misunderstood it. Other than that, there is no evidence for your claims. If it is a personal opinion, based on nothing but your own explanation of how you view things, then so be it. Everyone is entitled to that. No evidence points to it being so though...

DJ it is my personal interpretation, I am nothing more or less than a product of the big bang and part and parcel of the universe, I am of the universe and entangled in it, I observe and experience this through my organic self/senses, and form a personally coherent reality from it.

Which part of the above is upsetting you ?

I cant say I disagree with anything in wrathexs post. What we perceive as reality is just a representation of reality created by our brains. Our brains are really virtual reality machines.

The universe is but a matrix. Everything is just energy, in different forms.

Nothing upsetting me. I'll point out which parts I disagree with, or at least don't subscribe to...

This implies that there is some common benefit on a universal scale to simply observing reality. It also implies meaning in the resonation of our frequencies. But overall I'm struggling to get my head around what it really is that you're trying to say here as it reminds me of those nutters who tell us that the earth's resonation is fast approaching Tesla's fundamental earth resonation and we're going to explode this rock with our communal mind-bending skills...

That we do. But simply observing reality does not change your perception of it, nor does it change the way in which the universe reacts with you. It will still be bound by the laws of nature, regardless of how much you engage it mentally. This is where I thought you were referring to the holographic universe theory...

The holographic bit here is tripping me up again. If you're referring to the holonomic model of the brain then I'll admit, I don't know much about it nor have I delved into it much. I recall seeing it discussed on the David Icke forums once which immediately had me assuming it was more poppycock...

I've never seen anything at all pointing to our information processing influencing the universe in any meaningful way whatsoever...

Ultimately I see everything as a linear progression of cause and effect. Until I observe anything that would have me believe otherwise I don't see the relevance of questioning our purpose. First things first.
