There is nothing worse than delaying BB10, they still had a chance releasing it this year, next year they will be facing Android, iOS and the 2 new kids on the block, WP8 and Tizen which both release this year. Absolutely no way they will come out on top since it seems they already have problems with their OS, when released it certainly won't measure up to iOS or Android and will end up being loved by BB diehard fans and no one else. WebOS all over again
BB still has 3rd world market share by the nuts. They will survive.

If they sell RIM it will be split, handset division, patents and IP, and network division and right now I think patents would be the most appealing. The handset division isn't worth anything and I can't think of any company with many synergies to the network division. It would require a lot of reworking to get the network division to work with any other company's products. Samsung could definitely manage it though, or Apple.
Well first off they would bundle the patents and handsets... and that would sell.
Then they wouldn't sell the network off... they would just repackage it for other phones

Any company that receives the handset division would scrap it though, it's the main cause of the losses and all the other cellphone manufacturers have superior handsets in the first place, nothing to be gained from it. And of course the network depends on if they intend to still try keep RIM going or just cut their losses. But it would be the division to keep though
I rate if they were brave they would perhaps try stick an android version on it.

They already declined an offer from Microsoft to change phones to Windows Phone OS and be a second partner following Nokia, and Andy openly told them they are free to download the source code for Android and start migrating, again refused.
If I was a RIM shareholder I would be sooo pissed at em it would not have been funny.
