Thread: To the constructors of unnecessary speed bumps that hurt your car at 0km/h...

Angry To the constructors of unnecessary speed bumps that hurt your car at 0km/h...

PLEASE RIP OFF YOUR ARMS IN YOUR EARS!!!

I cannot convey how I detest unnecessary or unnecessarily uncomfortable speed humps... Surely there must be an ISO standard for these things?!!?

Another wonderful new speed bump appeared in the driveway of our office building... Clearly designed to prevent flyovers by aircraft... THAT FARKING HIGH!!!! WTF!?!?!?!

Those small metal speed bumps are the best ones.

The ones where the side of the bump is almost at a 90 degree angle are the worst imo. Some really bright designing (or building) there..

Our complex has the same badly designed hurdles - not speedbumps. You have to crawl at an angle to get safely over them.

There are regulations to how high and wide spped bumps must be, but these apply to council roads. I don't think private roads fall under the same regulations. They should!
I believe posters are recognised by their sig... so I made one.

The latest is one here at our office complex where some manager decided to install a hump made from a cement pipe. No logic went into its installation apart from having it solidly farking cemented into planet Earth. It scrapes my car now... every FARKING TIME!!!! And there is NO detour...

There is one of those just up the road from my house. It's safer for me to cross it from the wrong side of the road. It's as if they built it the wrong way round.... and it has claimed some body parts already!

Send them the bill, along with a nice love letter from a lawyery type.
Christ-mass is NOT for Christians. Jeremiah 10.
Is the 10 Commandments for Christians?

I absolutely wholeheartedly agree. These things are like a cancer. It starts off in your neighbourhood very slowly, maybe just one bump in one street. People reroute, causing more traffic in other streets, forcing other home-owners to also apply (campaign) for them. Before you know it, the whole neighbourhood is infested with them

They have put nice new rumble mountains on the road to our offices. You can only go over them at sub 20km/h or risk having your rib puncture a kidney. But the road itself is 80km/h zone so cars are flying up to you.

Everyone now just goes around them on either side.

Even worse is people who do 10 over a speed hump that you could easily do 40 over.
