I disagree, 2 things that would have made it easier.

Vouchers, not everyone have credit cards esp children.
Cell SP linked billing, see above.

haha to find all my paid for apps and make sure I have the handy ones installed. I have a couple of android devices, installed hundreds of apps over time (mostly free, to test out..), bought a bunch of apps (mostly on specials/promotions). Now there is no easy way for me to see what I've paid for and what is crap free apps that I played with briefly.

It would have been nice if I could remove some of the junk apps that is now cluttering "My Orders" .

Agree, you have no clue how my Apps look like. I want to remove the JUNK dammit.

I buy a lot of apps off Google. Absolutely love the ease of purchasing. Normally I browse through my browser in the store. Then I select the app, and since I have multiple devices, it lists them and then pushes the install to the device I want that app on. Its fantastically easy.

What exactly could the two biggest online stores learn from Google that they are not already doing?

What I want to know. I haven't used Android but I've had an easy time finding and buying apps on my iPad.

See for yourself, go type in what you want and see how easy it is to see comment, screenshots and all. Best is you can press install from the desktop and send it to the device you want. without being close to the device. IE: you can browse at work and install a app to your tablet at home.

Um, I don't know, allow us (and plenty of other countries) to buy their stuff without having to resort to (technically illegal) means such as fake addresses, vouchers, etc.

+1 - on Google Play (if you have a CC / paypal) it's a 1-click process. No fuss, no muss - no pain.

iTunes is a pain (vouchers - no SA CC allowed)
Amazon (Kindle purchases) - pain, pain, pain
