I think its a good thing - I wouldn't generally recommend it: 24 month contract and what not.
Increase ADSL subscriber base and so on.

Total Cost = R797.97
New Cost
Telkom Internet 2048 uncapped + R369
Telkom Line Rental + R148.37
ADSL Line Rental + R299
Bundle discount - R89
Total Cost = R727.37
Effectively a bump from 1Mbps to 2Mbps for a saving of R70,60 on my current cost.
