    And bigger screen.
    And slightly higher resolution.
    And bigger battery.
And slightly better front facing camera.

Which caters for the S Pen I think? Went to Musgrave MTN store and yes the screen on the S3 is the same length as the Note with the Note's being wider. Oh and the S3 comes with the ICS, is it a mission to upgrade the Note to the ICS?

Not at all. Had quite a few of them since available. Sticking to CM9 though.

Now that I'm almost getting the Note, which package should I take - 6 months of 300meg or 12 months of 300meg taking the fact that my internet usage is not high? I rarely used the 150meg given on the iPhone. Does one have to have the internet on permanently on with the Note?

The S3 comes with 75meg for 12 months.

Just love it. I don't like the stock based ROMS with all the boat that comes with them.
CM9 and nightlies also take care of my flash addiction

Note + Custom ROM(CM9) > SGS3 with stock ICS esp seeing that you own a iPhone and can always use that for a phone if the size becomes an issue.

Still a tough call. Personally I would opt for HTC One X but its got more to do with my build bias than anything else.
.... and thanks for all the fish.

I have a 250MB bundle on my Note. Still got 180MB left this month. I use WiFi at home and clients though. Mobile data only for maps, whatsapp and email really.

Hi Mike, is that per month? A six or 12 month bundle?

    Per month dude.
When my contract expires I am changing to prepaid as they have much better data deals there.
    Currently I have a Talk120 contract with a R99/250MB bolt on.

Hmmm better than 300meg for 6 or 12 months, what's your airtime rand value?

R200 or something. Not 100% sure and too lazy to dig out an account.
I hardly ever make calls and have accumulated hundreds of minutes that just end up falling away. Would much rather have data.

    Makes sense for data yeah, unfortunately MTN's 12 data of 300meg includes 50 sms's and R 350.00 airtime for R 549.00.
