    I have a retail 2750U. I go to Advanced > Storage Service.

If the Telkom firmware doesn't have the option, perhaps flash to the the latest retail version

    ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za/dsl2750U/Firmware/

Don't you have to also enable Samba to access the USB port on the D-Link?

Flame, you have to upgrade the firmware using Internet Explorer at http://10.0.0.2/

The upgrade firmware page would give you a field where you can upload the firmware from any location on your PC.

Just make 110% sure that you're flashing it with the correct version of the firmware. The firmware MUST be for that revision of the router !

You cannot upload the .rar file!

You have to extract the .rar file first and then upload the uncompressed file.
