Hi All...
I am hoping this is the correct forum for this but i thought i would find out if anyone would be able to shed some light on my issue...
I was in a car accident and was referred a panel beaters by outsurance so I took my car in and asked the director if they did mag repairs as well , as i thought i might as well get this done at the same time.
He advised they had a great place and we verbally agreed on a price of around R2000 to do the 3 kinks in the wheels (This is outside of the insurance and I would be paying for it out of my pocket) , I then received a call from them advising they were done and the amount for the wheels was almost R5000 ????
Is there anything under the consumer protection act that protects me here as this is ridiculous and not what was agreed.
Thanks in advance...
Regards
Darren
