Default Recommend me some JRPGs on PS3

Almost done with Star Ocean:Last Hope and it's been a blast so far.

    Anything else similar out there?

Something with just as much focus on the narrative. Even though I do enjoy the combat system.

I loved Heavy Rain, know its not strictly a JRPG but development and original were in Japanese

Try Resonance of Fate, Demon Souls, Dark Souls, Dragons Dogma, White Knight Chronicles 1 & 2 and Dragons Dogma.
I also enjoyed Deus Ex and Kingdoms of Amalur
    This requires additional thought. LOL

I'm currently playing FFXIII and it's brilliant IMO. From what I can tell the game review sites are judging them from a western style RPG perspective. Their main gripe is that you don't get to wander around vast areas like in Mass Effect or Fallout 3 for example, but it's a Japanese game, they don't follow western rules. It's fairly linear but the game is excellent regardless. The story is convoluted but great and the linearity doesn't detract from the game one bit IMO.

It takes a while to take off because you have very few moves to choose from in the beginning but after a few hours you'll have many and the battles can get quite hectic. Both games got 90%+ reviews on Japanese gaming sites. Western reviewers had their heads up their arses in this case

After being obsessed beating Gabriel and doing it eventually, I really enjoyed Dark Souls ( I have a 360, so could not try Demon Souls ) Also got obsessed with it, and finished it without any cheats.
