My wife's data: photographs, family trees, projects, etc.

If that's gone I'm dead and won't be needing the interwebz anyways

I will have a ton of drivers (network, printer, motherboard) and administrative utilites, linux/windows ISO's, and programs (VirtualBox etc) on there so I won't need to download anything from the Internet for a good while.

Then, to pass the boring times, I can either read some digital books (in epub format) or watch some ripped movies.

If there's still space, I just copy the file(s) I want to share to the external drive as my Dropbox won't be able to share the files.

    Music, movies and series.

Also work info, without the interwebs I may as well do something constructive

Friends cell numbers, so I can still attempt to organise a drinking session to pass the time going to have to resort to calls and smses without facebook and whatsapp.Thats if we can still remember how smses work

The internet has gone dead because zombies have overrun ISPs and power stations. Local law enforcement has been unable to contain the outbreak due to them being mostly dead, or undead at this point I imagine.

Luckily, I have some power left on my laptop. Enough for me to get the "How To Survive a Zombie Apocalypse" manual that I downloaded from some, now I guess not so crazy & paranoid dude on the internet, and which I’ve kept on My WD My Book Essential 1TB hard drive for safety.

Because this was always going to happen.

In the manual are best practice techniques for killing, again, zombies, HowTo - survival techniques e.g. how to build fires using materials mostly found in urban environments, building base weapons out of general household and toiletry goods & also, quite importantly “What Not To Do” tips and tricks.

I also kept extensive maps on My WD My Book Essential 1TB hard drive, downloaded from the following site http://www.mapofthedead.com/map/ which highlight where grocery stores, petrol stations and critically where the arms stores are.

And thankfully, I have enough power on my laptop to power the USB printer and print all of this out.

Now where are the keys to my Jeep Wrangler.

If the internet crashed, I would need just about every series possible to keep me busy during this time.

Besides the pictures for my work on this external hard drive I would hope that my music and video/movie collection was still safe and accessible. Knowing my luck I would have to call kilo to ask him how I access the items when the interwebz goes down.

I will get permission from the Internet Elders and simply download the internet on to the drive and Presto! Internet always and everywhere. I will keep the syncing all the changes to the internet with the Smartware software so it will always be up to date with no hassle at all.
