I would use all the Linux distros I downloaded when the internet was working to build new machines to host lots of new small internets and sell access to my friends

    The internet has crashed !

All my streaming radio stats and logs just died... along with my grannies secret audio streaming recipe. Oh noes. It has all just gone Ballz-up.

I will have to console myself with the saved podcasts and Lets Talk Geek episodes on the WD My Book... aaah... zenlike essentialism.

I will finally have time to organize all my saved data.

    - Digital Comics

Should keep me occupied for a while...

Can watch backups of my son's Tom & Jerry and Asterix series, my wife's Supernatural and True Blood and my Stargate and Starwars on the awesome WD HDD

If I could get a full backup of two sites: wikipedia and http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/, and all the source code available from a complete Linux system (Gentoo, Fedora, or Ubuntu, I'm not picky.)

Finally, the complete Kahn Academy, Coursera and Udacity. Unfortunately, I think that Youtube would be just slightly too large.

This takes me back to the good ol' days when data came by sneakernet. In those days, you had to get your stuff RIGHT: there were no easy ways to just do a quick update and distribute it to everyone!

My 1TB WD My Book Essential would hold and back up those things which are most precious in life to me....

    Namely.....

    1) My Monty Python Collection, the TV series and the movies.
    2) My Rowan Atkinson Collection - Bean, Black Adder, etc.
    3) My Fawlty Towers set of DVDs backed up
    4) And my Buffy The Vampire slayer DVDs backed up!

All the HD movies and documentaries I'm trying to catch up to, haven't had time to really watch anything lately.
