does anyone know if iPad 2 hard snap on covers fit the iPad 3 , i know the iPad 3 is 0.6mm thicker.. Also does the iPad 2 silicone back with smart cover all in one fit the iPad 3?

Yes, the iPad 2 snap on cover does work on the new iPad. I tried mine on one of my collegues new device. Not sure about the back cover though.

I have been all over PE and cannot get a back cover for the new ipad. Not available in SA they say. I am looking for something that is compatible with the smart cover....

I finally found a cover that is basically exactly what I wanted.

Hard back cover, front folding smart cover style flap with magnet and it's very light and not bulky. Very sturdy when using it for a stand and all for R359. Bargain.

Bought it at Computer Mania at Canal Walk.

Not all of them do. Tried a few at the Istore in the Waterfront.

Bought the choiix wake up folio online for like R250. It's great and fits the iPad 3. Recommended, in black.
