Found this in Current Affairs of all places

That which comes into existence will eventually break apart and pass away

It decays. But in the process, creates what is called the Higgs field. The interaction of this field with particles creates their mass.

I'm not sure where your confusion is coming from...
So what? Neutrons decay as well. That does not imply a direct ratio of one neutron for every proton. You got caught in a preconceived assumption and are now trying to wiggle your way out of it. Unlike with evolution you can't claim I'm questioning it because of my faith because if the Higgs exists then obviously God created it.

The whole problem here is how can a particle that decayed have an effect on matter if it no longer exists. That's akin to saying a magnetic object lost its electrons but is still magnetically charged. No pal, you have shown your true colors here you uncritically just accept whatever it is you want to accept and criticise and ridicule whoever challenges those views. No need for you to further illustrate your ignorance.

The facepalm worthy statement is actually the one who first used the fish analogy.

It's both a question and a statement. And how on earth do you know it to be false? More assumptions I guess...

The field is universal. Your mindset is that there is a single Higgs boson (or a few) that create a quick field and then transfer mass. And you are rightfully claiming that this must be bullschit. It is complete bullschit because that is not the way that it works. Watch the video...

    Incorrect
FTL travel is impossible. None of the leptons Bosons or Quarks can travel faster than light a photon is the light particle and can only travel at that speed due to time slowing down for that particle relative to a stationary observer.

    Correct
Only by manipulating space time can this be achieved. The discovery of the Higgs boson might be our first step into achieving this process due to the effect gravity has on Space time. IOW if you can create a strong enough gravitational field you might curve into the 5th dimension (Hyperspace) enough to create some sort of pathway to travel through. Gravity in a black hole is strong enough to cause a phenomena known as an event horizon where the light passing through it can’t escape, but the light would not be slowing down when beaming directly outwards. Space time however is distorted so radically that the beam can’t reach the surface again.

I'm not claiming bullschit. I'm claiming it doesn't make sense because it doesn't.

Again it's not about a few Higgs bosons that transfer mass. My mindset is correct here. The Higgs bosons supposedly came into existence through whatever mechanism created the other particles. What you can't explain is how the field can remain if all Higgs bosons decayed.

It seems your fundamentalist mindset is at work again. Somebody mentioned something that questioned what you just accept as truth religiously and as usual heads just went exploding. There are other models that explain the phenomenon of mass and in possible better ways even.
