Where to get my Data balance?

I have just ported to VC and have a Data contract. Where do I get my usage? What is the website and how do I check it out?

There are a number of ways to check you balance, USSD, vodacom.co.za, SMS, etc.

You can register on www.vodacom.co.za

The data sim will need to be in a phone though to receive your password via SMS. Use this to log in the first time and then you can change it to whatever you like.

If you install firefox with the phony addon and run it as an android phone you don't even have to register, just go to vodacom.co.za and it will give you lotsa options including account details.

Data cards/modems ordinarly cannot use USSD commands (eg. any thing starting with * and ending in # - *111*500#) so try the ShortCode (Free SMS) to 31050 with MM in the body alternatively register on www.vodacom.co.za using the username as the cell number of the Data SIM, this will do the trick as well. As I stated. I have a Tablet. Not a cellphone. Most tabs do not have voice calls or even a dialer.
