When trying to install the newest version, I keep getting an error code 0 and it quits.
Tried everything from removing all traces of the previous installation, reinstalling air and java.

No luck. Anyone run into this error and managed to get it working?

The software is a piece of crap.

We tried installing it on 4 different machines, 2 win 7 and 2 xp sp3, and for some arb reason it installed and worked on only one of the xp machines.

The developer should be publicly beaten.

Trying Installed first acborat air and java runtime first and then installed easyfile it should work like a charm

Acrobat AIR is required for the progam to work

He did that.

If you sure you using the latest downloaded 6.04 version to install( 6.03 is a corrupt install file)... and uninstalled all previous versions... delete this following two items:

1) File "easyFile-employer.exe" found in : C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp

2) Folder "easyFileEmployer.xxxxxxrandomnumbers " found in: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming

Make sure you have a backup of your easyfile if applicable before doing this... it worked for me...

Above is for Win7 , might have to adapt for WinXP.

Hi Krono,

I downloaded the latest installation from the site today. I did delete some info I found in the AppData folder, but I might have missed some. Thanks for those directories, I'll have a look if they exist on the system.
