Was Mango, but I called and sometimes they are not very helpful over the phone..however, I paid for someone to come visit me last week with my cc, and only noticed in the fine print that you need to produce the cc when checking in...she called them and they insisted that she needed a copy of my ID and front and back of my cc, when she got to check in, they didn't ask for the documents at all. So I guess you could just take a chance.

Yep...she went to the counter at OR Thambo and the ticket was more than on the website for admin fees etc and they told her it would be cheaper to book online, she didn't have a cc so I used mine from cape town. Only after the fact did i see you need to check in with the cc used to purchase the ticket...so she called them and they said she will not be able to check in without a copy of card and id...I was so worried about having my copied card details out and about but they didn't even ask for it.

That is why I buy my tickets at Shoprite etc - then it goes through as a "cash transaction" and no cards need to be showed anywhere.

Ahhh, thanks, didn't know that but will remember for next time..much more convenient when buying tickets for someone else.

Anyhow, I guess what they tell you over the phone and what actually happens at the counter are two totally different things.

Ha, yea - like all things in life: There are always grey areas.

I have also found that the ticket prices tend to be lower at Shoprite's in-store Computicket than what I can get online at Computicket's website!

What we used to do to get documents over urgently is this:

Go to the departure gates for Jhb flights. Ask someone flying if they're willing to hand over documents when their flight arrives in Jhb. Give them R50 & tell them the recipient will give them another R50 when they're met at arrivals.

It's the quickest (and same-day cheapest) way we've been able to get documents by air.

They gave my babymama hell even with a birth certificate as he had my surname not hers... Needless to say she had the surname changed!

Why exactly would you smuggle drugs on DOMESTIC flights when you could just courier them unchecked by any officials?

... and how exactly does one line A4 sheets of paper with sufficient narcotics?
