They lied, to hide their negligence (failing to obtain stock). PM to Cell_C with details of the shop attendant, let them investigate.

Before seeing the location of the store in this post, I too was told by a lady in tygervalley that this voucher is no longer available.
She said only the 2gb per month deal is available as a voucher.
Hopefully the cell c rep can clarify.
As I have the 10gb 8ta deal which I use as a wifi hotspots, 2gb's per month is too much, but 3gb per year would work well, I would just buy another voucher if it is used up within the period.
Thanks ginggs.
I went to Canal Walk and got one of these vouchers without any problem at all.
So now what is the problem with Tygervalley Cell C???
I have a good mind to go and shove it under their nose and ask them to explain.
This has been my gripe all along with these vouchers.
There seems to be a total lack of consistency between stores.
I've had nonsense from both stores in the past in fact.
One moment you can buy and the next moment not, depending on the person you are dealing with.
Why?
Poor staff product knowledge or what?
But, having said all that, the fact that this particular voucher can no longer be found on the Cell C website (unless I missed that), may tell us something.
Maybe we are seeing the last of the "stock"?
I hope Cell_C can clarify the current and future status of this particular useful 3GB SmartData voucher.
I hope we can get some clarity as well.
This is a really good deal for smartphone users.
The data price is no different than normal but the window for it to be used is particularly useful and something no other network offers.
It is average 256MB, cost R33.25 per month and doesn't expire.
Normal 250MB bundle R100 and lose it if not used during one month.
Bump. This is one of the big reasons for me porting
me too
i dont want this promo to end
HI
The 3GB for 365 GB there dose not seem to be any plans to discontinue.
I have have inquired and they say no end date.

In that case, I'd really like to know why the Cell C store in Tygervalley Cape Town, refuses to sell me this voucher?
They insist I must bring ID and proof of residence for RICA and buy a new SIM card for R399
It's pretty ridiculous to be expected to have to throw away a perfectly good RICA'd SIM each time the 3GB is used up.
Why are we Cell C customers still experiencing this inconsistency between stores?
