It is like ebay, ... there are different sellers - always be weary of the seller and look at his sales/feedback history. I have used it with success in the past.

Did u pay with a credit card?
If so, did you need to send them a copy of the credit card , your ID and credit card statement.

They asked me for this information. I declined to give it because of possible fraud.

They did not ask me for this info no, but the possibility was always there - they cannot do much with just a copy of the front of your card in any case.
