Sony DSC-HX5 movies

My mom took a video of this but doesn't know how to view them on a PC. I think they're MTS or AVCHD or something ... What can she use to watch them?

Their camera's are awesome though. I got one for the birth of my son, little handycam with built-in projector, 1080p and 5.1 surround sound recording, something like 40 optical zoom I think.
