Thread: Sim swop "return"

    Default Sim swop "return"

I recently did a sim swop at mtn. The reason was to get a microsim for a new phone on upgrade.
The phone was faulty and the upgrade terminated.
Before I left the store I asked whether they can reactivate my old sim as I would be using my old phone. I resorted to using the microsim in its template it gets pushed out of.
I have now decided to leave mtn after the upgrade termination was approved. Can I demand the extortionate R136 paid for the sim swop back, as the only reason I took it is now gone. I also can't keep it till I get a new phone as I intend on porting after much grief with mtn.
Is there anything in the CPA that will back me up as well.
