    Default Blackberry and Sim card

Hi guys, i just need some advice please, i currently have BIS activated on my Vodacom contract sim card.
however i plan to use my contract sim with another phone.

If i change my blackberry over to a prepaid sim, with BIS activated, will everything still work like normal ie. email and BBM etc. ?

No it won't! I used another sim in my BlackBerry and when I put my original simcard back emails didn't work. Bbm did work though.
I phoned my SP and apparently there's simcards registered to my phone and this screws up the emails. Now they should delete this and you should re-register, but they haven't/couldn't delete this yet (4 months down the line) - trust Nashua...
Moral of the story - don't put another sim in your blackberry!!! Not sure what would happen if you'd put your sim in another phone though... Hope my experience helps?

all you need to do is login again with blackberry ID when u have the new simcard in, then your emails will resync and things will carry on like normal. Its purely a security measure so that people cant just use your phone once its stolen.

    This is correct,
You might also have to reactivate your email address by just putting in your email password,
But you can definetly use another sim with BIS active.
