Avast FREE or McAfee Platinum / Internet security

Hello

I currently have avast free installed on my laptop. My laptop came with McAfee Platinum security or Internet security (on of those).

Would it be better to use McAfee or stay with Avast?

That McAfee is most probably a trail that will run for 30/60 days and then request you to buy it. I don't know much about McAfee but usually I recommend Eset / Bitdefender over McAfee.

You should give it a try and see if you are happy with it then in 30 / 60 days time decide if you want to buy it or not. McAfee is much better than any free alternative though.
