Default So my (ex)friend stole my website

    Hi Guys,

Need some help. A couple of months ago me and a friend finished building a site for his dad. We didnt get paid yet but I was promised that we would. Me and my friend got in to a fight and after a few months he put the site up without my consent. I did over 90% of the site but obviously dont have any proof of it. It is a Joomla based site.

I've even emailed his dad but got no response from him. Do you have any tips for me?

Is this why he's no longer your friend?

Yea, never rely or enter into a 'gentlemans agreement' - where there is a financial implication 'black and white' wins.

Do not do business with friends or family. Old rule, but true.

What do you base the R6000 on?
    -Was there scope?
-Was there a statement of work?
-Did you give your ex-friend's dad some form of quotation?

Actually he started doing hard drugs and used me to build websites so that he can get cash to buy drugs.

If you have proof, small claims court. If no evidence, then well... ja... well...
