How much is a normal monthly membership fee if you are not a member of anything (vitality, edgars, etc)?
    Want to join a gym.

Seems like you are only allowed to visit the gym in off peak times (usually something like 09:00-16:00) for R69/month and you need to pay the upfront card/activation fee. Useless spelling though...

    Limited Membership Hours:
    Mon-Fri Fri 10h30-14h30 & 20h30 to close
Seems like they can differ per club though : http://www.planetfitness.co.za/clubs/

Thanks for directing me to this link and I only spotted this now.
So essentially you can only work out for 30 min in the evening assuming of course you arrive there at exactly 8:30pm.

    Planet Fitness Fail.

Max R250 for me. Replacing DSTV Compact with a gym. I'm sure I can find some cheaper gyms around my area.

I agree, not the best deal for the working class folk. A bargain if you are a "stay at home dad type" and can pitch up mid morning for your work out.

That would work for my schedule, I would go in early like 6 or 7 to gym.

Oh... I didn't read that. No that wouldn't work

Thankfully I pay r500 a year for my gym membership. And MrsCerebus pays r90/month plus r50 for the boys @ the Virgin Waterstone, which just happens to be the best bargain in town on short-term childcare.
