    Default MyPBX transfer to cellphone

    Hi Guys

I was wodering if there is another option to transfer a call to a cellphone, besides forward call.
Basically I would like to tell the cell user who is on the line before sending the call to him.

    Thanks
    DD

We have a MYPBX and transfer calls like that all the time. When the call comes in, just dial *3, for transfer, and then the cell number, tell the person whatever and put the phone down. call is connected. Works like a charm.

I don't know if OP wants to do attended transfer, I think he wants the same feature set as with full blown asterisk whereby a call is announced and the called party has the option to press 1 to accept the call or 2 to send it to voice mail.

I don't think MyPBX has that function, the best other alternative would be if he uses VOIP for outbound to try and pass the CLI of the calling party to the cell via the SIP trunk.

asterisk calls this feature an "attended transfer"
