My electricity use to go around R1500 - R2500 a month after installing a prepaid meter and swapping out the old geyser currently spend about R800 per month, water roughly around R500 as well

We average in the winter about R750 a month and in the summer it goes right down to R500 a month! I wish I can find a way to bring it down, but with two toddlers on the run I need the tumble dryer. We dont use heaters or anything though, and we have the PC on 24/7, I havent yet switched of the geyser, as I am not convinced it will make a huge difference. Mmmmm....it is a lot of money though. I am not sure of water usage, as it is included in the Levi!

This month about R400 for electricity, prob due to the winter time, switching on lights earlier etc etc. During the summer time it's usually about R300. Have 2 fridges, a micro server, dstv decoder and some odds and ends running 24x7. Also have 4 outside lights on a day night switch. I also use a dishwasher and washing machine about 2 times a week. So I am not really working carefully with the electricity. But I have to say I do not use any electric heating devices and I shower at the gym 5 days a week.

Never paid more then R500 a month and we have 2 adults and a baby, we only have one or two lights on at a given time, every light bulb is ccfl or LED where I can put them in, the TV is a 46" LCD that only chews 120watts an hour, it's on perhaps 2 hours a night? We also use the tumble dryer about 4 to 5 times a month depending on how the little one has been on his clothes. Also shower a lot so that keeps the water under R100 as well.
Do you hear the voices, too?

About R550 for 360 units a month. Water is about 4kl a month so still falls within the free 4.2kl.

    That's impressive.
I take it you don't have a garden to worry about or it's full of cacti and other drought hardy plants.

Electricity about R400 a month, don't pay for water as I very rarely uses more than the free allotment, in which case it would be like R5 or something ridiculous like that.
