8ta Huawei E173 3g modem and what wifi router

Hi Guys

I need some advice on what wifi router to get that I can plug my 8ta Huawei E173 3g modem into.
The router needs to support at least 5 devices (2pc, 2 ipad and phone), cost at most R1000, be stable and hopefully support USSD codes.
Can anyone suggest a specific make and model for me?
I am a complete noob so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Another question? Would I just plug the 3g modem directly in to the router, and leave it on all the time - i.e. is it as easy as "plug and play". If not, could someone please explain the procedure on how to connect?

Any brand of 3G router should work just fine.
All you do is plug in the modem, and it establishes the connection automatically.

Nope ... best is to decide which routers are in your price range and then see the compatibility list!

I've pretty much narrowed it down to the following:

Billion BiPAC 7300NX 3G
Netgear MBRN3000
D-Link DWR-113
Trendnet TEW-655BR3G or TEW-656BRG

They are all pretty much in my price range and all are compatible.
I cant seem to find review for them though!

Does anyone know which would be the better one to go for?

True, but the E173 is a modem which should work with most brands of routers

I really dont know what to get.

Not conflicting reports. All require occassional power cycling, perhaps not frequent enough to bother. However if you need just simple 3G connection and Wifi, perhaps look at B683 router with HSPA+ modem built in, very stable. R1100 at 8ta stores. Modem is very good and stronger built in antenna comparing to typical USB stick. Not sure about USSD.
