Don't think that's called for TBH. Yeah there are people who are better off than others, but that doesn't necessarily make one happy. Happiness is not something that can be forced. Were you happy when your ex used to beat you up? How would you have felt if people told you to just get over yourself at the time? Sorry, didn't want to drag that up, but I hope you can see my point now.

Agreed, I get that. But that doesn't mean that one is not allowed to feel unhappy. We all have our ups and downs that affect our moods and feelings - last time I checked, it's part of being human

I just came back from work late this afternoon after being unsuccessful with a simple networking problem. I left the school cursing and frothing at the mouth.

By your logic, nobody should ever feel unhappy, because every few seconds of every day someone out there is dying/being raped/being murdered. If you're not allowed to be unhappy when someone else has it way worse than you, then more or less nobody would ever be unhappy.
