    Default Help plz on Ovi app purchase from cellc p/paid sim.

    I've tried this now:

    This service is available from three of South Africa’s network operators, MTN, Vodacom and Cell C. The SMS service will be billed according to the cost of the application or content being downloaded which ranges from R9-00 to R150-00. The simple process requires the consumer to select the content they want to purchase on the Ovi Store via operator billing, the purchase is confirmed automatically via email and SMS, including the costs. Download commences as soon as SMS confirmation has been received. Purchase verification is done in the process by the service provider.
    But when i choose the phone bill option i get this;

    Payment confirmation failed.
    Premium messages may be blocked.
    Checked my cell nr on my Ovi profile and it's OK.

    Plz help.

    "Phone bill" sounds like something for post-paid contracts, but it may include SMS, I don't know.

    Credit card is probably your safest option, you can always reverse the transaction if the download doesn't work, or whatever. You don't have that option with SMS payment.

    It seems to be P/Paid as well.

    Nokia today announced that consumers can now purchase content from the Ovi Store using their pre-paid credit or cell-phone contracts via an integrated SMS service. (http://www.ovi.com/). The service will be billed as part of their monthly bill from their operator or deducted from their Pre-Paid airtime credit.

    OK i think this is on contract where you cannot buy apps with the contract airtime, only when you load separate airtime.
    I'm not sure, but this could be the problem.
