Default Father Takes Away Kid's Xbox

    In other world news.

Father Takes Away Kid's Xbox, Kid Calls the Cops

A father tried to punish his son by taking away his beloved Xbox 360, so the son reportedly tried to punish his father by calling the cops on him and reporting it as a theft.
The incident happened over the weekend in Christchurch, New Zealand. The unidentified father and his 17-year-old son got into an argument over the teenager's bad grades and the father decided to confiscate his Xbox 360 because he puts in around two or three hours of game time a day and "puts it before everything else."
The kid allegedly decided his father had gone too far, so he called the cops and reported the Xbox 360 as a theft.

Father created this monster so the father should take some responsibility.

Nothing that a punch to the kids' throat couldn't solve.

This is something I disagree with immensely.

Outside of ones home, yes a hiding should be "not allowed", but inside ones home, it should be none of anyone elses business (unless it spills over to abuse).

There at least 24 countries in the world that have an outright ban on spanking, in the home and in public

The father failed at raising the kid properly, so now the suggested course of action is to beat discipline into him?

****, I'm 17 and I couldn't imagine calling the cops on my parents. They could confiscate every item in my possession, and the po-po would be none the wiser.

Maybe I should call the cops next time my other half gets hooked on a new game. It must be theft

Thee audacity! How could his father just take away his Xbox like that?! But seriously, this kid needs help/to be taught a lesson.
