Best buy: A pair of linksys WRT54GLs. Been providing me with free uncapped internet for over 9 years already.

Worst buy: One of the original EEEPCs. 7" screen and 8GB hard drive just won't do!
http://www.letsmeet.co.za - A free South African dating site with licence plate integration.
http://www.investorchallenge.co.za - Fun game based on the JSE!

    Best buy:

Samsung 21.5" LED monitor - Reasonably priced, works exactly as advertised.

    Worst buy:

Blackberry(8520)/BIS(MTN) - Phone is dead slow. BIS just does NOT work
    Just a quick note: C#

    Best buy:

    Samsung Galaxy S3
    - Most amazing piece of technology I've ever owned. It could be powered by magic.

    Worst buy:

    Apacer USB Media Player
    - Cost nearly a grand, had a sluggish UI and wasn't needed after my dad bought a new Yamaha Blu-ray player that had USB support for Fat32 and NTFS formatted flash drives.

    Worst Buy:

None per say but if it wasnt for its saving in money due to BBM I would have said my blackberry 8250.

    Best Buy:
Blackberry Playbook 32GB - I bought it for R2500 in Canada and use it as my netbook replacement with my Torch 9800 on business trips (without any problems). I also use it to read e-books.

    Worst buy:
A cheap Chinese bluetooth wireless dongle bought from C*m*u*e* M*n*a (my first mistake) for which I couldn't register the software, as it turned out to be pirated I managed to returned it, but had to make a scene first as the manager denied denied denied. Of course he would/could not demonstrate a working example to me...

Best Buy: Apple iPad 1 and 2 - Awesome for the kids including a 3 year old.

Worst Buy: Iomega Media Drive, waste of money as I use a PC now to provide Media Server functionality, the Iomega is now basically a backup drive.

Let me start off with the WORST BUY ever: Eken M001 android Tablet. (Take my word for it, there is a reason why they are only R800 for a tablet....)

And then comes in the BEST BUY ever: DSTV - as without it (SPORT), life would NOT be the same...

    Best Buy
Steelseries 7G Mechanical Keyboard, it takes awhile to get used to but once you get used to it you never want to go back to a standard keyboard. Sure it makes a little more noise than a normal keyboard but the typing experience is worth it.

    Worst Buy
Baobab Acrobat Flexible Keyboard, thing is a nightmare to type on!! You press a button and most of the time it doesn't pick up that you have pressed it. Also it feels really rubbish to type on.

Transcend 16GB USB 3 Flash drive. It has saved me many hours waiting for large files to copy compared to a standard flashdrive!

    Best Buy:

    iPad 2 ,
+ bought in February second hand
+ market is flooded with bargains if you looking for a tablet
    + fast
    + reliable
    + long battery life
+ does everything I want from a tablet
+ have not put it down since day 1

    Worst Buy:

    Samsung Galaxy GIO
    - pathetic battery life.
    - slow.
    - freezes.
    - few supported updates from manufacturer.
    - Support is almost non-existent for Samsung's cheaper phones.
    - had to update ROM to get better performance in battery life, and repair WiFi issues.
