Default Sock Car Racing Goodwood Oval (those-were-the-days)

Just surfing the web recently, I came across a number of threads (on this forum) about Stock car Racing at the Goodwood Show grounds Oval Track. In fact I found so much interest that it was decided to develop a website covering the nearly 30 years of stock car racing under the banner "Cape Hell Drivers" - the site is now live for all those interested - although this site will remain work in progress, it will make for a good view and read with updates and new info and pics from time to time. Your views, revues, comments ad feedback will be appreciated - Details below:

    WoW, Cool, Thanks.

Was a "pit-mac" for years (A40) & then a driver for ½ a season (A17), but after some serious damage to the vehicle and no sponsors to help with finance, I gave up and sold the car.
The racing at Goodwood Show Grounds was the BEST oval track racing EVER!!!

Well apparently they had a open session to the public at times where you could take your car onto the oval. The one guy I studied with's step dad or something like that tanked up on brandy & coke took his Audi for a lap or two and wrote it off

Dunno how true it is though.
