Cant find a article but heard on 702 that the gautrain has been stuck between centurion and midrand station for over an hour and a half and it is very packed, that must suck, and obviously then the other trains cant go so people at stations are affected too...
MTN has very poor customer service and PR skills: MTN doesn't take fraud cases seriously
Maybe some chewing gum got into the works.

Yeah, saw it this morning on my way to work near the Brakfontein interchange. Apparently there was some smoke, so the driver stopped services. Situations like these you definitely need a 3G tablet to pass the time
Funny, I was asked to dispose of my chewing gum while on route from the airport.
Is it still stuck? Wonder what caused the smoke. Two stories in the news now that doesn't reflect to good on the Gautrain.

Took me 30 minutes to get my car out of the Rhodesfield parking lot yesterday as one of the exit booms was not working. When it came time to swipe my card, it took the money and then refused to open the boom. So had to go back to the office and explain the story to them to let me out... but really would wonder if the other boom failed, what they would do?
After that story I'm choosing to drive to work rather as its madness trying to get out in the afternoons and evenings there. Regular occurance that one entrance boom is failing too.
Just thought maybe they could implement e-tags at those booms so it will ease the traffic flow and at least E-Toll booth would be of some use.
They send 2 trains for the passangers. Some guys left PTA at 06h30 this morning & only got 2 work now.
My fiancee was on this train.
She phoned me @ 11 to tell me she is now finally waiting on the bus at the rosebank station.
3 hours late
Got stuck in the tunnel under sandton a few weeks back
clearly 1 train is giving issue, or maintenance is lacking
